I'm a PMP certified project manager and I run PM Mastermind, where I teach people how to break into project management and pass the PMP on the first try. I had my daughter when I was 17 as a teen mom, worked call centers and catered weddings, went back to school full-time at 26 for a chemistry degree with the goal of medical school, and when that didn't work out I stumbled onto project management. I went from $17 an hour testing bacteria at a food plant to a $105,000 a year senior project manager job in 90 days, and now I teach anybody who will listen how to do the same. I've worked in biotech and healthcare and eventually moved into consulting, and I built this whole thing off of one belief: give you the game so you can run the play.
